Marriage Ministry

Once a month married couples gather at a host home for an evening of visiting and games. We usually meet on a Monday evening starting at 7 p.m. Children usually play together in another room.

We believe that this small group fellowship for married couples is critical to our ministry of  relationships between spouses and between each other. In a church fellowship whose couples are busy with life, family, career, we must make time to have a "night out".

Love and Respect

Private marriage classes at Cornerstone Community Church in Del Norte, Co.  Rio Grande County, San Luis Valley. Available to all people; troubled marriages, engaged couples, normal marriages.

Please understand that the Bible is God's instruction book. When we reject it or fail to follow it we will experience trouble and failure. Marriage is very near and dear to God.

We conduct private Love and Respect classes (for the couple together - not individuals) using a book, workbook, and video. It is a 12 week course meeting once a week. There is no charge but couples are asked to pay for their own books. The books are written by Dr. Emerson Eggerich. (Read about him)


The classes are based primarily on  Ephesians 5:33 (NIV)

33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as
he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.


This is an amazingly simple formula that is virtually guaranteed to work! Because it is God's command to us, it is a spiritual teaching and not a humanistic teaching. God's love never fails.
