The mission is to restore people to usefulness from their present broken state.

OVERVIEW

The Gospel Rescue Mission is sponsored & operated by Cornerstone Community Church with the assistance of local community members and organizations. It is modest (no "country-club") rural mountain living in a group home in a small town.  

Whom do we serve?

We serve the unemployed, the hungry, the homeless, the abused, the unloved, the disabled, the recently released from incarceration, and the addicted.

Residents first learn to serve others through volunteer community service. In order to break the cycle of selfishness, the resident must do volunteer work within the program for 90 days. It is a principle that works! If you are broken or unemployed, serve others for 90 days and watch God provide you employment - even in our area with twice the unemployment rate.
